Description of 358 Anti Climbing Security Fencing
The 358 anti-climb fence(also called 358 security mesh,358 mesh fencing or prison mesh) is a high-security barrier system designed to prevent unauthorized access through climbing or cutting. Its name derives from its standardized mesh dimensions: 3" × 0.5" × 8-gauge wire (76.2 mm × 12.7 mm × 4 mm wire diameter).
This high-performance system offers top-tier defense against climbing and cutting attempts. What's more, it comes with extra features like V-top designs, barbed wire, and razor wire, all of which further enhance its security capabilities.
Key features of 358 Mesh Fencing
1) Anti-Climb Design:
Ultra-Dense Mesh: Narrow 12.7 mm vertical gaps prevent fingers or toes from gripping, making climbing virtually impossible.
Cut Resistance: 4–6 mm thick wires and reinforced welded joints resist bolt cutters, shears, or manual tampering.

2) Durable Construction:
Material: Low-carbon steel (Q235) or galvanized steel wire.
Surface Treatments:
Hot-dip galvanizing (275 g/m² minimum coating) for rust prevention.
PVC or powder coating (e.g., RAL 6005 green or RAL 9005 black) for UV resistance and aesthetic blending.
Welding Strength: 540–690 N/m², ensuring structural integrity under stress.
