Product Description

Aluminum grating is a versatile, high-performance material widely used in industrial, commercial, and architectural applications. Made from lightweight yet strong aluminum alloys, it offers excellent corrosion resistance, making it ideal for harsh environments where steel grating would rust.

CANRI WIRE MESH offers many options for aluminum bar grating, such as: swaged rectangular bar, flush top, press lock, riveted, plank, and I-bar aluminum bar grating products.

Feature of Aluminum Grating

1. Corrosion Resistance – Ideal for corrosive environments (e.g., chemical plants, wastewater treatment, marine applications) where traditional steel grating fails.

2. Lightweight and High Strength– Up to 70% lighter than steel but with comparable load-bearing capacity, reducing installation and structural support costs.

3. Slip-Resistant Surface – Molded with grit-coated or patterned surfaces for enhanced safety in wet/oily conditions.

4. Non-Conductive and EMI Transparent – Safe for electrical hazards and compatible with sensitive RF/communication equipment.

5. Low Maintenance – No painting or galvanizing required, with long-term cost savings.

6. Customizable– Available in various mesh sizes, thicknesses, colors, and resin types to meet specific load/chemical exposure needs.

Types of Aluminum Grating

Type 1:Swage locked aluminum grating

 Aluminum Grating

The swage locked rectangular bar, the most commonly used aluminum grating, features clean lines. Its bearing bars come with standard plain surfaces, and optional serrated surfaces are also available. The cross bars are completely locked into the bearing bars, positioned slightly below the top surface.

Type 2: Swage locked I bar aluminum grating

The I bar grating has lighter weight than rectangular bar and is a great option for any project that has weight limit restrictions.High strength, slip resistant bearing bars and low cost making the grating and excellent choice.

Type3: Swaged flush top aluminum grating

Aluminum Grating

Swaged flush top aluminum grating is produced using a distinctive extruded cross bar that aligns evenly with the top surface of the bearing bars. This design offers an improved walking surface, making it ideal for areas with constant pedestrian movement.

Type 4: Dovetail pressure locked grating

 Aluminum Grating

Dovetail pressure locked aluminum gratings are characterized by their deep rectangular cross bars. They are fabricated by arranging pre - punched bearing bars and cross bars in an “egg - crate” pattern and then deforming the cross bars through high - pressure hydraulic processes.

The prominent deep cross bars of this gratings render them highly sought - after in architectural uses like sun shades and infill panels. The depth of these cross bars acts as a striking visual feature, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the structures.
