Anhui Huaibei Pingshan Power Plant

Anhui Huaibei Pingshan Power Plant is located in Pingshan Village, Gurao Town, Huaibei City, Anhui Province, about 17 kilometers away from Huaibei City.It was set up in Huaibei City Pingshan Power Plant Preparatory Office in 2003 . The project power plant plans to install 4×660MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired units, the first phase of the project to build two units, simultaneous supporting the use of smoke tower integration, high-efficiency electrostatic precipitator, desulfurization, denitrification and other environmental protection measures.

This project is the "coal power integration project" of the "Cooperation between Shanghai and Anhui", and the power generation is absorbed by Shanghai and implemented by the power market. The coal required for the power plant is provided by the supporting Huaibei Yangliu Coal Mine, which requires about 3 million tons of coal per year.

Pingshan Power Plant project is the "Anhui power transmission to the East" project of cooperation between Shanghai and Anhui, and is also one of the key projects of Huaibei City. The project had dynamic total investment of 5.79 billion yuan and started construction in October 2013.
