Stainless steel grating is an open-grid flooring product made from load-bearing bars and cross rods welded or press-locked together. Unlike carbon steel grating that requires hot-dip galvanizing for corrosion protection, stainless steel grating relies on the inherent corrosion resistance of the alloy itself — making it the preferred choice for environments where exposure to moisture, chemicals, salt spray, or high humidity would rapidly degrade ordinary steel.

Unless otherwise specified, stainless steel grating shall have a mill finish and hairline (HL) finishing. Other types of finishing such as abrasive blasting, passivating, or electropolishing also available based on customer requirements.
